How to Take Care of Your Gold Jewellery

Take care of your favourite jewellery like you would take care of a cherished piece of clothing. Below are some useful tips to ensure you are still wearing your pieces for years.

Store your jewellery individually in our beautiful branded boxes in order to prevent any scratches or tangles in the chains. Take care to avoid extreme heat or humidity as this may lead to tarnishing.

Your jewellery should be kept in a dark, cool and, most importantly, dry place. Consider placing moisture-absorbing silica gel packets into your jewellery box to prevent tarnishing.

With time and wear, sterling silver will naturally become oxidised and eventually tarnish. Storing sterling silver jewellery in an airtight box when it is not being worn will keep out the air that causes oxidation.

Exposure to cosmetics, chlorine, soap and other chemicals may also lead to tarnishing, so wear your jewellery after spraying your favourite perfume or applying your lotion, and take it off before any physical exercise or the pool to make sure it lasts as long as possible!

We recommend cleaning the jewellery with a jewellery polishing cloth to maintain its original beauty.
